Mediterranean/Tuscan Style

This look is best described as rustic and timeworn. The woods and furniture are usually heavy and broad, and dark or rich colored. Natural elements are used for the sinks and countertops and cabinets often are without doors

Country Style

Warm woods bring people into these kitchens while comfortable and welcoming seating keeps them there. You might prefer an American country kitchen, or a French country kitchen. All country kitchens take their inspiration from the outdoors and provide a welcome respite for the cook and his or her guests.

Traditional Kitchen Styles

Traditional kitchen styles blend the formal and elegant look characteristic of American and European homes from the 18th and 19th century designs. You can expect to see crown and rope molding, fluting, corbels and other ornamentation and trim. The kitchen cabinets are generally made from cherry, walnut and mahogany wood and feature raised panel doors. It's also common to see the kitchen cabinets painted in white. The fixtures and appliances are generally antique looking. One of the great advantages of having a traditional kitchen style is that never goes out of style, however you may want to spice up your appliances or furnishings over time.
